Employee At Eagle Rock School Removed For Alleged Misconduct

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An employee at an Eagle Rock elementary school was removed and is being investigated for allegations of misconduct, district officials said Tuesday.

The investigation at Dahlia Heights Elementary at 5063 Floristan Avenue involves an alleged report of an unidentified employee allegedly engaged in unspecified misconduct, possibly with a student, according to LAUSD spokesperson Ellen Morgan.

No arrest has been made and no charges have been filed.

The subject's position and name are not being released due to the ongoing investigation, Morgan said.

A letter was issued to parents on Monday acknowledging the investigation, said Morgan.

No further details were released.

A viewer who asked to remain anonymous contacted CBS2/KCAL9 confirming his child came home from school with a letter stating the LAUSD was investigating an alleged report of an employee being removed for alleged misconduct.
