Homicide Detectives Investigate Murder In Bellflower

BELLFLOWER (CBSLA.com) — Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting murder of a man Sunday evening in Bellflower.

The shooting was reported just after 9 p.m.

Investigators were dispatched to the 1600 block of Woodruff Avenue, according to officials.

A watch commander said the victim was transported to a local hospital where he was declared dead.

The man's name was withheld until his next of kin could be notified.
