Brush Fire Blackens 149 Acres Near Magic Mountain In Valencia
VALENCIA (CBSLA.com) — Los Angeles County firefighters Tuesday battled a 149-acre brush fire near Magic Mountain.
The blaze, which was 90 to 100 percent contained by 10 p.m., broke out near the 26000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway near Old Road around 11:50 a.m.
More than 220 fire personnel, assisted by crews in three helicopters, worked to extinguish the flames.
No evacuations were ordered, and no injuries were reported.
