Reports: Actor Tim Curry Recovering From Stroke

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Actor Tim Curry, best known for his role in the 1975 cult classic "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," was said to be in recovery after he suffered a stroke at his Hollywood Hills home, according to multiple reports.

Curry's agent, Marcia Hurwitz, told the UK's Daily Mail that the 67-year-old actor was in good spirits and "doing great" after the episode.

"He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor," she said.

A rep for Curry, however, later told the entertainment website TMZ that the stroke actually happened last July.

Curry, who began his career on stage in London, has been seen in numerous films such as "The Hunt for Red October," "Charlie's Angels," "Scary Movie 2" and "Kinsey."
