Ex-Lions WR Titus Young Faces 4 Felonies For Allegedly Trying To Burglarize OC Home
NEWPORT BEACH (AP) — Southern California prosecutors have charged former Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young with three new charges for allegedly trying to burglarize a San Clemente home.
An amended complaint filed Friday by the Orange County district attorney's office means Young faces a total of four felonies and seven misdemeanors stemming from a May 11 break-in that ended in a scuffle with two police officers.
Riverside County prosecutors haven't yet charged the 23-year-old for legal troubles earlier this month. He was arrested May 5 for allegedly driving under the influence and was arrested again the same day for allegedly trying to steal his car from a tow yard in Moreno Valley.
The mother of his son also filed for a permanent restraining order, citing threats of domestic violence.
He remains in custody.
