Authorities Probe Fatal Shooting In Palmdale Apartment

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Officials are investing the early Thursday morning shooting death of a man in Palmdale.

Sheriff's Homicide Detectives said a Latino adult was shot in the upper torso in an apartment about 4:55 Thursday morning.

The apartment is located in the 200 block of East Avenue Q-10.

Authorities said there was one female adult and two male adults within the apartment at the time the incident occurred.

The three people are being detained and questioned.

Detectives learned that the victim was an invited guest of the apartment residents.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There have been no arrests at the time of this writing.
