Lancaster Residents Warned 'Hot Prowl' Burglar Is On The Loose

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Lancaster are warning residents about a 'hot prowl' burglar.

'Hot prowl' refers to a burglar who enters the residence while the homeowners are still inside, usually when fast asleep.

During the month of May, officials say at least ten such burglaries occurred.

Detectives believe all ten crimes can be linked to the same suspect.

In each of the burglaries, police said the suspect entered the home through an unlocked door or window.

If you recognize the suspect, you are asked to call the Lancaster Sheriff's Station (6610) 948-8466.  If you see the suspect in your neighborhood, you are asked to call 911 immediately.
