VH1's 'Hit The Floor' Premiers Memorial Day At 9 PM

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — A new dance sitcom is coming to VH1!

Award Winning Actress Kimberly Elise visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to talk about her new scripted series "Hit The Floor" that premieres on Memorial Day at 9 p.m.

The series centers around the Los Angeles Devils, a professional basketball team and its professional dance team, the Devil Girls, and explores the fascinating and exciting lives of this high stakes world.

Kimberly plays Sloane Hayes, a sharp-tongued, strong-willed, former Devil Girl, who is determined to make her daughter Ahsha follow a different path—something away from the flash and danger of the world she left behind.
