The Newest Craze At Big Bear Lake: Flyboarding

BIG BEAR LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Just in time for Memorial Day, a new craze lets riders fly in, out, and over Big Bear Lake.

Flyboarding combines wake boarding and water jets. The wave runner forces water through a hose connected to the board and hand jets, lifting the rider as high as 15 feet into the air.

Action Aqua Flights offer daily rides from 9a.m. to 5p.m. daily. The cost of a ride is $110 per person for 30 minutes.

A grand opening party will be held this weekend at Big Bear Marina for the launch of flyboarding by the company Action Aqua Flights.
