Man Dies In Police Custody

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a man died Friday morning while in the custody of the Montebello Police Department.

The victim was pronounced dead after being taken to a hospital.

His death was reported at 12:16a.m. in the 1000 block of Carob Way, according to authorities.

Homicide detectives are reportedly assisting in the investigation.

No other details were immediately available.
