After a long week at work it is important that you take the weekend to reconnect with your partner and find some romantic time together. Why not take a romantic drive to Coronado beach and have dinner at one of the most historic restaurants in California?
Chez Loma is a restaurant specializing in French cuisine and it is a beautiful little restaurant that you really must pay a visit to. It is located in the Carez Hizar House, which was built in 1889, and is a Coronado historic landmark. The beautiful home has been renovated, is fully accessible and is now a charming French bistro serving a lot of locally sourced foods at reasonable prices, making this a delightful stop for a romantic dinner for two.
Make sure to visit Chez Loma on a Friday or Saturday night, as it often has live music to accompany the delicious dinner. As you and your loved one are perusing the menu you’ll see all the classic French cuisines, including escargot, tartare of beef, duck confit, and of course pot de crème. Clearly, there is a lot to enjoy, so be sure to come hungry. Chez Loma also features an excellent wine list with several great choices for every palate. Try the flight so you can get a sample of three different wines, to really enjoy the flavor of your favorite type.
Once you have finished your delightful meal, you’ll enjoy the fact that the beach is within walking distance, so you can stroll along the beach enjoying the warm California nights and the picture perfect views. When you are done, just hop back in your CL63 AMG Coupe from Mercedes-Benz of Encino for a luxurious and comfortable drive home. Mercedes-Benz and Chez Loma make a great pairing, and you’ll have a romantic night for two that you will want to repeat again and again.
