Police Investigating Laser Strike On Jet Approaching LAX
FLORENCE (CBSLA.com) — Police and sheriff's deputies Wednesday night are investigating a laser strike in the Florence area that was pointed at a jet going to Los Angeles International Airport.
Sky2 was overhead and recorded video of the green laser.
The pilot of the jet notified the Los Angeles Police Department about the incident.
Pointing a laser at an aircraft is a federal crime.
