1 Dead, 1 Wounded In Predawn Coachella Shooting
COACHELLA (CBSLA.com) — One man was killed and another wounded in a predawn shooting in Coachella.
Authorities said 34-year-old Daniel Carmona of Coachella and a second man were shot by an unknown assailant about 4:10 a.m. Sunday in the 83000 block of Serpentine Way.
Carmona was taken to John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital where he was declared dead.
The second victim was treated and released, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Erickson.
Authorities did not say if they had a motive or suspect.
