OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say two people have been found shot to death inside a car in Oxnard.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of South “D” Street Saturday morning to perform a welfare check on two people in a car.

When authorities arrived, they found a woman in her 50s and a man in his late 30s both dead from a gunshot wound.

The victims’ names were withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Homicide investigators say they are following up on several leads and motives.

The City of Oxnard offers a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspect(s) in homicide cases.

Officials ask anyone with information about this case to contact Detective Ken Tougas at (805) 200-5669.
