Penn. Man Suspected In SoCal Bank Robberies

CULVER CITY (CBSLA.com) — A Pennsylvania man suspected of several recent bank robberies in Southern California was in police custody Friday.

Danny Gaudio, 55, is considered a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred on March 29 in the 3300 block of Sepulveda Blvd. in Manhattan Beach, according to Manhattan Beach Police.

Gaudio was arrested on Thursday after detectives determined Gaudio was the person sought in the crime.

The Harrisburg, Penn., resident is also considered a suspect in recent bank robberies in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades, according to police.

Investigators from the Federal Bureau of Investigations and police departments in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, Culver City and Manhattan Beach worked together on the investigation.
