LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — One felony and several misdemeanor charges were filed Friday against the woman who allegedly kept police at bay for more than six hours inside a home owned by an “American Pie” star earlier this week.

Officials say Roxanna Bear, who turns 32 Saturday, armed herself with a knife and barricaded herself inside Eddie Kaye Thomas’ Hollywood Hills home Wednesday.

Bear pleaded not guilty to a felony count of vandalism of over $400 and one misdemeanor count each of exhibiting a deadly weapon, interference with a wireless communication device, false report of a criminal offense and resisting, obstructing or delaying a peace officer.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Upinder S. Kalra ordered Bear to stay away from Kaye and his home.

Police were called to the scene at 1:09 p.m. Wednesday after she allegedly pulled a knife at the home, which belongs to Thomas, also 32. He’s best known for his role as Paul Finch in the “American Pie” film series.

Bear had allegedly spent the night at the residence, but became angry when she was asked to leave and armed herself with a knife, LAPD Lt. Andrew Neiman told reporters. Police also said Thomas met Bear for the first time at a restaurant the previous night.

After more than six hours, the woman refused to budge, said officials.

Authorities eventually deployed flash-bang grenades and tear gas to enter the home and extricate her, according to Officer J. Boyer of the LAPD’s Hollywood Station.

The vandalism charge alleges she damaged phone lines, a cellphone, home furnishings, windows, a guitar and clothing.

A May 3 will determine if there is enough evidence to require Bear to stand trial.

Celebrity website TMZ is reporting Bear was arrested twice in February — once for public intoxication and another time for trespassing.

She is being held on $20,000 bail.
