Hearing Rescheduled In Jamie McCourt Lawsuit Over Value Of Dodgers

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A motions hearing was re-scheduled Monday morning for post-divorce proceedings between former Los Angeles Dodgers owners Frank and Jamie McCourt regarding the team's value.

Jamie McCourt is suing her ex-husband for $770 million, claiming he undervalued the baseball team in the couple's January 2012 divorce settlement.

Papers filed in Los Angeles Superior Court show Jamie McCourt settled with her former husband for $131 million. Frank McCourt testified that his assets, which including the Dodgers prior to their sale, were worth approximately $300.

McCourt later sold the Dodgers for $2.1 billion in March 2012.

Jamie McCourt claims the agreement should be shelved and that she should be awarded at least $900 million.

The hearing is now scheduled to take place Wednesday, April 17.
