Woman, 30, Sustains Fractured Pelvis In South LA Hit-And-Run

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman sustained a fractured pelvis in a hit-and-run crash in South Los Angeles, authorities said.

Los Angeles police Sgt. Dana Adams says the 30-year-old woman was walking in an unmarked crosswalk on 88th Street when she was struck by a black sport utility vehicle.

The vehicle kept going northbound on Figueroa Street, authorities said.

The accident happened about 2:14 a.m. Sunday.

The victim was taken to California Hospital.
