INDIO (CBSLA.com) — The Coachella Valley will be the center of the music world Friday through Sunday as the annual Coachella Music and Arts Festival rolls into the Empire Polo Grounds.
The Stone Roses will headline the first night of the annual festival.
“Coachella takes over the entire town of Indio. Its six stages, its artwork, it’s a constant festival day and night,” KROQ DJ Kat Corbett told KNX1070.
For the fourth consecutive year, KROQ’s Party House is the place to be for insider access. Lucky party house pass holders will see exclusive live performances and interviews will be held throughout the weekend on the party house grounds.
“It’s the pre-party to the party and you can get really close to the artists with some of the bands coming by,” Corbett said. “We have a pool, we have a BBQ and tons of booze, it’s a party!”
Temperatures for this weekend’s festival should reach the 90s.
“It’s gorgeous…where last year it was in the triple digits,” she added.
Coachella continues next weekend, April 19-21, in Indio.
