CORONA (CBSLA.com) — A woman feared kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend following the murder of her mother has been located.

Crystal Gene Lopez, 28, was found safe Thursday morning when she walked into the Corona Police Department, officials said.

According to authorities, Lopez had been unreachable following the murder of her mother, 55-year-old Katherine Aguirre, on Wednesday.

Family members say the former couple had been arguing about Lopez's children for several days prior to the shooting. Quezada is not their father. Corona Murder Suspect
