Lindsay Lohan To Letterman: Rehab A Blessing, Not A Curse

LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — Lindsay Lohan is going to rehab, but not before she shares a few laughs and uncomfortable moments with David Letterman.

In an appearance taped for Tuesday's "Late Show," Letterman asked Lohan about her upcoming rehab stint, which is part of a plea deal in a misdemeanor traffic case.

Letterman asked how many times she has been to one of the facilities, how this time will be different and if she has addiction problems.

Lohan, after laughing and saying the questions weren't discussed during the pre-interview, said, "I'm the happiest when I'm working and the healthiest, and I think this an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life.  And I don't think it's a bad thing.  I think it's a blessing…and not a curse."

The actress is promoting her role in "Scary Movie 5," as well as a guest spot on FX's "Anger Management."

The star's full interview with Letterman airs on CBS2 at 11:35 p.m.
