POMONA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Sunday said a 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after a deadly crash in Pomona.

The 1:30 a.m. crash occurred in the 1500 block of N. San Antonio Avenue.

Pomona police say Raelene Martinez of Ontario was driving her 1995 Toyota Camry when they say she lost control and struck several parked cars before the vehicle rolled over.

Martinez and three passengers, ranging in age from 18 to 23, were transported to area hospitals for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

She was arrested on charges of driving under the influence causing death and vehicular manslaughter, CBS2's Joy Benedict reports.

The deceased was identified Sunday evening as Serena Vargas, a 19-year-old resident of Upland.
