PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday said two men have died and a third was wounded in a shooting in Riverside County.
The incident happened in the 300 block of Flicker Way in the city of Perris.
Investigators say they received a “shots fired” call about 10 p.m. Friday and descended on the scene.
Upon arrival, they found three men shot.
One of the victims was found on the front lawn with non-life threatening injuries.
He was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive his wounds.
Two additional victims were found inside the home. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
A description of the suspect (s) was not immediately available. A motive for the shooting was unknown.
The victims’ identities have been withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Flicker Way has been cordoned off while officials investigate.
