STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — Don’t judge a person until you’ve walked a mile in his shoes.
Actor Mark Moses and Sudan Relief Fund supporter Elias Chavando are using that phrase to bring awareness to those suffering in Sudan.
Moses and Chavando stopped by KCAL9 Friday to tell viewers about the first “Walk in No Shoes” event that benefits the Sudan Relief Fund.
The money raised for the run/walk event will help support education, housing, food, clothing and medical facilities for those suffering in Sudan.
The event takes place Sunday at Woodley Park/Lake Balboa in Encino from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
