Special Needs Network To Hold Events For Autism Awareness Month

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — President and Co-Founder of Special Needs Network, Areva Martin, Esq. stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to discuss the company's upcoming events for Autism Awareness Month.

The Los Angeles based nonprofit organization was established to help families faced with autism and other developmental disabilities.

The organization focuses on raising public awareness, impacting public policy, increasing education and access to resources for families, children and adults.

The SNN's most anticipated event takes place April 12—13 with a two-day conference that is free and open to the public. More than 2,000 people are expected to attend.
