3 Men Die In Overnight Crash In Mission Hills

MISSION HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say three men have died in an overnight crash in Mission Hills.

Los Angeles police Sgt. Amy Wong says the 2:05 a.m. accident occurred at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Rinaldi Street.

A 1992 Honda Accord and a Chevrolet Volt were involved in the crash.

Investigators believe the Honda lost control and went through oncoming traffic before slamming into the Chevy.

Three Hispanic men were pronounced dead at the scene, Wong said. A driver from one of the vehicles was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries.

Detectives are investigating alcohol and possibly speed as factors in the crash, police said.

No further information was immediately available.
