Man Reportedly Grave After Shooting On 110 Freeway

LOS ANGELES ( — A man is reportedly in grave condition after being shot and pushed out of a car on the 110 Freeway Saturday just before 5 p.m.

Police in a K-9 unit said they were flagged down — while driving southbound on the 110 Freeway — by a motorist who said there was a body on the road near 9th Street.

Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and then said they saw a man being pushed out of a vehicle. They described the car as a maroon colored Toyota Camry with a shattered back window.

The victim — described as being in his early 20s — was taken to a nearby hospital. Officials described the man’s condition as grave.

Police told CBS2 reporter Brittney Hopper the victim sustained two gunshot wounds, one to the head and another to the upper neck area.

The suspect is still at large.
