David Lyons Discusses Book, Life With Multiple Sclerosis

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — David Lyons appeared on KCAL9 News on Saturday morning to discuss his book and his epic fight against Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Lyons is a current TV producer at Bishop-Lyons Entertainment with partnerships at ITV Studios and FOX STudios, amongst others.

He has authored "David's Goliath: Winning the Battle Against All Odds" with the desire to encourage other MS patients and others facing challenges in life.

Lyons was diagnosed with MS in 2006 at the age of 47.

He explained that at the time, he had suffered a major MS attack that left him numb from the chest down and unable to coordinate his movements.

Lyons, who continues to work out and body-build, also discussed the MS Fitness Challenge -- a pilot program aimed at helping others understand the importance of fitness.
