Get Rid Of Chronic Pain With 'The MELT Method'!

STUDIO CITY (KCAL9) — A nationally recognized somatic-movement educator and manual therapist by Sue Hitzmann stopped by KCAL9 Thursday to discuss her new book, "The MELT Method".

"The MELT Method" is a program for natural pain control through a series of movements that takes only ten minutes a day.

It can be used for back pain, knee pain, neck pain and overall aches of Fibromyalgia and more.

About The MELT Method:

•             MELT uses a soft body roller and small balls that are designed to simulate gentle manual therapy techniques. You don't want to do things that cause pain. Inflicting pain on yourself isn't a solution for pain, gentle self-treatment is. It's understandable to want to hurt areas that hurt you, but your connective tissue and nervous systems don't respond positively to intense pressure on tissue that isn't prepared properly or allowed time to adapt.

•             The best time of day to MELT is at the end of your day, especially if you have chronic pain. This allows your sleep to be more restful and your body's repair mechanism to be boosted. Best of all, you will wake up feeling rejuvenated and ready for your day.
