STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Do you have the moves to perform at center court?
Traci Hawkins, director of the Ole Skool Crew Dance Team, visited the KCAL9 studios Thursday.
The Ole Skool Dance Crew is looking for new female dancers over 40 to perform at the Los Angeles Spark’s games this season. The Crew performs choreographed routines to 1970s and 80s dance music at halftime.
The 2013 season will mark the Crew’s 10 anniversary with the Sparks.
The open tryouts will take place on Sunday, March 24th between 1:00pm and 4:00pm at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College gymnasium, located at 400 W. Washington Blvd., in Los Angeles.
You must be in good physical shape, you must be ready to show “freestyle” dance moves as well as being able to learn some choreographed moves.
The team is looking for dancers with great personalities who have a true commitment to the team concept.
