STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Director Fanny Veliz visited the KCAL9 studios Wednesday to talk about her new movie, “Homebound“.

Veliz was joined by actor Enrique Castillo to discuss the movie about a successful young man who returns to his small hometown of El Campo, Texas to reconnect with his roots.

“Homebound” will be screened across the U.S. to help raise funds for local charities and give back to local communities.

The film will be screened in Los Angeles on Mar. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Renberg Theater with proceeds benefiting AIDS/LIFECYCLE 2013.

Tickets are available here.
