Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Mar. 19)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — It will be a healthy mix of clouds and sunshine today. We'll call it partly cloudy to mostly cloudy.

The marine layer is still in place this morning, however, it has been broken up a bit. There is a disturbance moving into the West Coast and it is providing for the high cloud cover. A dry cold front will pass on Wednesday with little ado.

There may be some very light precipitation north of Santa Barbara in San Luis Obispo County.

The Los Angeles Metro area will remain dry, breezy, and cool. Temperatures continue to run below average. We probably won't see 70s again until Saturday when a ridge will nudge over, but the intensity of that high pressure ridge has diminished, so the warm up will put us at or slightly above average as we make our way through the weekend and into next week.

There will be some more cooling late next week.

Coast-low 60s
Basin-mid to upper 60s
Valleys-mid 70s
Mountains-upper 50s
Deserts-mid 70s
