Tustin Man Wanted In Connection With Estranged Wife's Murder Surrenders

MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — A Tustin man accused of murdering of his estranged wife has surrendered.

A statement issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department says Arthur Andrade turned himself in to Whittier police about 1 a.m. Sunday.

He was subsequently booked at the Montebello Police Department and charged with murder in connection with the killing of Soria Esperanza.

The 29-year-old is accused of confronting Esperanza in the parking lot of her place of employment on Saturday morning.

Police allege that Andrade shot Esperanza multiple times in the upper body during an argument. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bail for Andrade has been set at $1 million, the statement said.
