Cast Of '2 Broke Girls' Enjoy Rich Laughs At PaleyFest
BEVERLY HILLS (CBSLA.com) — The cast of "2 Broke Girls" showed why it's one of TV's top comedies Thursday night at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills as part of PaleyFest.
CBS2 Entertainment Reporter Suzanne Marques talked to the cast on the red carpet.
"I think just hearing what you put on TV and to hear people laugh at it every week, and we're having a great time making it, and people have a great time watching it, it's like the best thing you can hear as an actor," said Beth Behrs who plays Caroline.
Her co-star concurred about the on-camera camaraderie. "We are so close, Beth and I are like sisters at this point. I see her as much as I see my boyfriend. We couldn't be closer," said Kat Dennings who plays Max.
The first thing the two women did when they met up on the red carpet? Give each other a big hug and compliment each other on their outfits.
Inside the event, fans wanted to know all the gossip and dish. They especially wanted to know about upcoming plot points.
Fans also want to know if the two characters will ever kiss each other. "A lot of people want to know that," says Dennings, "A little trivia. We did that already. But it was cut out. We kissed and they thought it was unnecessary -- so they cut it out."
Marques asked Jennifer Coolidge (she plays Sophie) what the strangest thing a fan has ever asked her. "I had a man come up to me at a grocery store, and he said his wife was our biggest fan and he said 'sign this.' And he hands me a box of Stayfree Maxi Pads. I thought that was kind of weird." (She signed it.)
