RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — AT&T has announced plans to hire more than 500 workers in the Inland Empire and throughout California.

Ken McNeely, the president of AT&T California, said the telecommunications company is looking for technicians for full-time spots with contracts that extend to three years.

The hires will receive paid on-the-job training, including benefits. They will also be considered for other employment opportunities within the company.

"I'm proud that AT&T is creating new job opportunities in Riverside," said McNeely. "As a leader in communications technology, we are investing across California to empower, engage and transform the way people interact with each other and the world around them."
