Man's Badly Decomposed Body Found Inside Santa Ana Storage Unit
SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said the badly decomposed body of a man was found Wednesday inside a Santa Ana storage unit where it's believed he had been living.
A maintenance worker at the storage facility located in the 400 block of N. Fairview St. noticed a strong odor emanating from one of the units and called police about 10 a.m., according to Santa Ana Police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna.
Blood was found at the scene, but no obvious signs of foul play, according to officials.
Investigators have not confirmed the man's identity.
Bertagna said autopsy results are pending.
