Interstate 10 Shut Down After 2 Injured In Accident In Baldwin Park
BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — Interstate 10 was shut down temporarily Wednesday morning after two people were injured in a vehicle crash in Baldwin Park.
A van crashed into the center divider near Puente Avenue around 5:30 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters had to cut the injured driver from the vehicle. A passenger was also injured in the accident.
Officials closed I-10 in both directions in order for a medical helicopter to land.
The female driver was airlifted to a local hospital.
The condition of both victims is unknown.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
