SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Simi Valley police are searching for a man suspected in a late-night robbery of a 7-Eleven convenience store.
The robbery took place about 1:30 a.m. Saturday at the store on East Cochran Street.
Police said in a department statement that the suspect had entered the 7-Eleven, told the clerk he had a gun and demanded cash.
Police said the clerk complied, handing over an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.
The suspect, described as a white male, is believed to be about 25 years old. He is 6-feet-tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a red shirt.
