Man Sought Following Alleged Kidnapping In Moreno Valley

MORENO VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Saturday continued to search for a man suspected in a kidnapping in an unincorporated area of Moreno Valley.

A Riverside County Sheriff's Department news release says the incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Friday.

According to the statement, a heavy-set man wearing a mask allegedly entered a car that was stopped on Germert Road.

"The suspect forced the victim to drive to a remote area near the intersection of Two Trees Road and Galaxy Heights Road," the statement said. "Once at their destination, the victim managed to flee and escape."

The suspect is about 5-feet, 10-inches tall and was last seen wearing dark clothing.

No further information was immediately available.
