ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — An inmate who allegedly escaped from the maximum security Theo Lacy Facility has been captured.
A news release issued by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department says Saith Na was found at an Oceanside motel about 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Sheriff’s deputies say they located the 26-year-old while following up on information that he may be in the area.
Na was taken into custody without incident about 19 hours after he was discovered missing from the city of Orange jail after failing to show up for a head count.
Police said Na was booked into the Orange County Jail seven months ago on suspicion of robbery, narcotics, weapons possession and criminal street terrorism.
