LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Construction work will close several lanes of the northbound 405 Freeway this weekend through the Sepulveda Pass.
The 55-hour closure involves a 2.5-mile stretch between Montana Avenue and Getty Center Drive, Metro officials said.
The closure begins Friday at 10 p.m. and ends at 5 a.m. Monday.
The construction is part of the ongoing I-405 Sepulveda Pass Improvements Project to extend the carpool lane and widen the freeway.
