Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 25)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The winds have relaxed this morning and the advisories have been cancelled.

The general northwest flow dominates today.  This will bring us some high clouds and temperatures hovering around average.  With some very low dew points this morning and light winds, we have the recipe for some cold temperatures. There are frost advisories in the interior sections of Ventura County.

A ridge of high pressure is expected to build as we make our way through the work week.  It should peak on Friday and Saturday with temperatures into the 80s downtown.  So expect temps to be above average through the week.

The dry weather continues this week as well...we are now running 6.12" below average.  At this point we are on track to have a drier year than last year  (we were more than 7.00" below average for the last water year).

Coast-upper 60s

Basin-low 70s

Valleys-low 70s

Mountains-mid 40s

Deserts--low 60s
