LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — California Pizza Kitchen is hosting a statewide fundraiser this week to benefit the families of two slain peace officers who were killed in the manhunt for ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner.
Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain and San Bernardino County Detective Jeremiah MacKay were allegedly shot and killed earlier this month by Dorner.
The fundraiser will be held from Monday through Thursday at all CPK restaurants across the state.
In partnership with the Riverside Police Officers’ Association (RPOA) and the Sheriff’s Employee Assistance Team (S.E.A.T), CPK will donate 20 percent of all participating checks from patrons who bring in a fundraising flyer to the RPOA and S.E.A.T.
