STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Keith Simanton, managing editor of IMDb, appeared on KCAL9 News on Sunday morning to weigh in on who he thinks will take home Oscar gold Sunday.

Simanton is a longtime commentator on movies and the arts. He has been regularly featured as the “Movie Guy” on Seattle-area radio and TV stations and is one of the “Oscar Experts” on Goldderby.com.

Each year, he travels to the major film festivals including Sundance and Cannes.

He also helped co-found one of the first movie websites, Film.com, and went on to review film for the Seattle Times, Movieline and Amazon.com.
