LA VERNE (CBSLA.com) — Officials say a man responsible for nearly a dozen bank robberies has been apprehended.

The so-called “Don’t Even” bandit was arrested Friday following a heist in La Verne, said the FBI.

The FBI says 29-year-old Dwight McGarrah pulled off at least 11 ban robberies in the Southland dating back to last summer.

McGarrah was dubbed the “Don’t Even” bandit for making verbal threats against tellers often using those words.
