SUN VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A deadly accident killed two people in the San Fernando Valley early Thursday morning.

The accident happened just before 3 a.m. in the 7500 block of North Glenoaks Avenue in Sun Valley, Los Angeles police said.

Investigators say the small SUV hit a tree in a median and caught fire.

The identities of the victims were not released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
