Bar Patron Slammed In Face With Beer Stein In Unprovoked Attack
TEMECULA (CBSLA.com) — A bar patron suffered cuts and a broken nose when he was slammed in the face with a beer stein during an unprovoked attack in a Temecula bar Friday.
Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to Hard Hat's Sports Bar & Grill located in the 27000 block of Jefferson Avenue on Friday just after 7:20 p.m.
Officials were responding to a deadly weapon report, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Dean Spivacke.
The victim, identified as a 48-year-old Sunland man, wrote down the alleged assailant's license plate before he drove off.
A deputy later spotted the car and pulled the driver over. The man was identified as Michael James Osborne, 32,of Temecula.
Osborne was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was released from jail after posting a $25,000 bail.
