LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities on Sunday continued to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting of a male juvenile and wounding of a man in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles.

The incident was reported about 12:21 a.m. Sunday at 95th Street and Vermont Avenue.

A statement issued by authorities says both victims were taken to area hospitals where the minor was pronounced dead. The name and age of the deceased has not been released.

The condition of the man was not immediately available.
