Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 13)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Clear skies and cold temperatures this morning although frost advisories are only in effect for the Inland Empire.

The off-shore flow continues through the middle of this work week.  That will translate into gusty winds below our passes and canyons.

While we are getting brisk starts to our mornings, the daytime highs are not too bad.  We will be hovering near average today with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.

The warm up continues tomorrow and Friday...with Friday being the warmest day.  We should get some inland highs near 80.

The high breaks down on Saturday, but even with some cooling, it should be a nice day with temperatures well above average.  By Sunday you will notice a significant cool down.  Next week we will see the return of some cool daytime highs with a series of inside sliders moving through the region.  No real rain in sight.

Coast-mid 60s

Basin upper 60s to low 70s

Valleys-low 70s

Mountains-low 40s

Deserts- mid 60s
