LAPD Asks Big Bear Residents To Check Surveillance Footage For Dorner

BIG BEAR (CBSLA.com) —  The Los Angeles Police Department is asking San Bernardino Mountain area residents to check their security footage for images of triple murder suspect Christopher Dorner.

The Dorner Task Force is asking residents who may have surveillance cameras at their homes located in the areas of Big Bear Lake, Moonridge, Sugarloaf, 7 Oaks Community (Converse Flats), Bluff Lake, Jenks Lake and Angelus Oaks to review the video "from midnight on February 7th , until present day to see if it captured an image of Dorner," officials said.

Dorner's blue Nissan Titan pickup truck was found abandoned and on fire near Big Bear Lake around 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 7.

Anyone with images of the 33-year-old suspect is asked to contact the Dorner Task Force at (213) 486-6860 or 1(800) 222-8477.
